Your single trip

You must make sure that all the information you have given us as part of your application, including the declaration of medical conditions is true and complete to the best of your knowledge and belief. Failure to do so could result in your policy being cancelled or any relevant claims being reduced or refused.

You and anyone to be covered by the policy are:

• Ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom, and registered with a medical practitioner
• Travelling from and returning to the United Kingdom
• Not travelling already
• Unaware of any reason why you may have to cancel or cut short your trip
• Not travelling against the advice of a medical practitioner
• Not travelling with the intent of receive medical treatment, surgery or investigations

You have the consent of any named person on the policy to pass on their information to us.

During your trip you must take all responsible precautions to avoid injury, illness, disease, loss, theft or damage and take all reasonable steps to safeguard your property from loss or damage and to recover property lost or stolen.

This policy is not intended to cover any costs which relate to anybody not insured on this policy; with this in mind please ensure that all persons travelling have sufficient insurance to cover their needs. This applies even where you have paid for the additional costs – for example, if you have paid for another person’s travel or accommodation costs.
