Derry Airport

Derry Airport claims the top spot with an impressive average customer review score of 4.75 out of 5. Travellers have highly praised this airport with one Google reviewer saying, “All the staff I came across on my journey yesterday were amazing. I was travelling with 2 kids and a dog so we had lots of stuff. I could not have asked for more kinder, patient, helpful  ground, security and airport staff. A big thank you to you all.

Humberside Airport

Ranking second, Humberside Airport receives a commendable average customer review score of 3.75 out of 5. Passengers appreciate the airport’s convenience, smooth operations, and attentive staff, “We have travelled to many airports around the world and we’re shocked at how nice this small airport was! Excellent friendly staff, a great little gift shop, clean comfy seating area, nice little ramp for disabled passengers. We were pleasantly surprised.”

Jersey Airport

Jersey Airport secures the third position with an average customer review score of 3.35 out of 5. Travellers admire the airport’s workers with one Google review stating, “Very good service from the check in staff, security staff were polite and efficient duty free staff were helpful. I had a great experience from start to finish.”

London City, Isle of Man, and Inverness

Share the fourth place, each receiving an average customer review score of 3.05 out of 5.

London City Airport is praised for its modern technology with one review on Google stating, “Best airport experience I have had in a long time. Newest security scanners make life easy going through and due to the airports fairly small size it’s very easy to get around. Decent selection of food and drink airside as well. Transport links all well covered too.”

Isle of Man Airport is lauded for its pleasant ambiance, one Google review says, “My favourite airport. Never seems to [be] any hassle here. Connect to Manchester from here a lot which is useful for islanders. The views from the terminal are great too. The bar/cafe on the departures side is also efficiently run. There are busier times at this airport but on the whole it is a very calm place.”

One Google review had this to say about Inverness Airport, “This has got to be one of my favourite airports. It is small, yet perfectly formed and has everything you need. I even like getting there early as the view from the public areas of the airfield is unrestricted.

Heathrow, Southend, Belfast City, and Glasgow

Tied at the fifth position, each receiving an average customer review score of 3 out of 5

A spokesperson for Loveit Coverit commented on the study, “The study proves that bigger doesn’t always mean better, as it highlights smaller airports like Derry and Humberside that have managed to shine with outstanding customer experiences, surpassing their larger counterparts.”
