Everyone has heard of the Moulin Rouge, and that means it’s a tourist hotspot. The Crazy Horse Paris however is a lesser-known cabaret and burlesque club in Paris that’s well worth a visit. Being in a similar vein as the Moulin Rouge it’s a venue suited to adults only, with magic and dance shows designed to entice and amaze.
If you want a unique view of Paris by day or at sunset, then we have the best locations to wow your Instagram followers. The Galeries Lafayette gives a great panoramic view over Paris where you can see the Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, and Notre Dame to name a few. Printemps Rooftop Terrace gives you a great view of the sun setting over Paris, what’s more the view is free unlike the majority of vantage points around Paris.
If you want the typically tourist tour with a cool twist, this is the bus tour for you. Monmartre is known for its artistic heritage, overlooked by the basilica of the Sacre-Coeur it’s steeped in history and character. Renting an apartment in the area provides a great base for your visit to Paris.
Visit the Louvre at night is a twist on a regular tourist activity in Paris, visit at night for an exclusive tour of the museum. Chances are it will be quieter, have less families and school outings, and provide a great activity to do post or pre dinner. (opening times do vary so please check ahead of your visit)
When Gustave Eiffel built the Eiffel Tower he built an apartment exclusively for himself and his special guests, he was always adamant that nobody else could visit or rent the apartment and stuck to this policy until his final breath. Nowadays you can at least view the apartment with it’s magnificent views over the city.
